This is a real happy day and we wanna celebrate it with all our fans and friends - wherever they are!

Eisbrecher have managed it to enter with SüNDE the German Top 20 Album Charts! From 0 to 18 in the first week

Our THANX goes out to all our fans all over the world that have supported us! Thanx especially to all our North-American fans who got the CD in the first week (even we had to split with our American lable) - even they had to order via amazon or Isotank from Germany!

We are very thankful to have the best fanbase a band could ever wish for!!!

so there are only a few days left until SüNDE finally will be released.
Until then there are already some good news.

1. Because of big inquiry our concert in Berlin was moved from KATO to Columbia-Club. We are really happy about that and look forward to the show!


2. In week four "Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein" still stays in the German DJ-Charts. The Single rises in the Metal-Rock-Charts (MRC) from 19 to place 8. In the German Alternative Charts (DAC) we managed it this weeks up on place 3.


3. On our My-Space-Page you find a new Song from our upcoming album. After "Herzdieb" and "Durch die Hölle" now "Heilig" gives you a taste of sin!


Finally our third Podcast-episode is online now. Don´t miss it if you wanna see Al and Pix play with the snakes!

We finally made it: Our third album “Sünde” will be released on the 22nd of August.
To increase the tension here are some final news about the release!

We are very happy that Eisbrecher Single “Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein” entered the German Alterna-Charts (DAC) last week and could rise from 11 to 5 until this week.
Also we could enter the German Metal and Rock DJ-Charts (MRC) on place 19.

Here we go again,
the long wait is over! New food for your ears.

Tomorrow our single KANN DENN LIEBE SüNDE SEIN will finally be released. Unfortunately only on the German market. But you can get it over amazon for example!

Ahoi friends,

The production process of Sünde is finished. The mastered songs are on their way to become a finished CD now. The artwork for the album and the single are almost ready as well. Time to take a breath but no time for a break: I have heard a lot of the new songs and I can promise you that an incredible album is coming!

Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein 18th of July 2008 (single – Germany only)
Sünde 26th of August 2008 (album – American release date)

Now that the album is finished, the band has to take care of numerous other duties: they have to give interviews, work on photo shoots, prepare for the tour, rehearse the new songs and of course, make a great video clip. But the promotional work should not be forgotten! At this point a hearty thank you to all the street team members worldwide who are helping us spread the news about the single, album and tour through the Internet!

In addition to all the good news, there is, unfortunately, some bad or rather sad news.
Our bassist Martin Motnik has decided to leave Eisbrecher for professional reasons:

Dear Eisbrecher fans and family,
some of you have already gotten the news that I have been in Los Angeles for a while now and do my work with my bass in studios there. We have spoken among the band members about how the distance can be managed between Germany and the US. However, we have agreed that date planning is getting too difficult. The upcoming concert dates and the preparation for the tour require that the band is together at the same place. That I fly in for every gig is not feasible as you might understand. So, I can not continue my work for Eisbrecher.

You find Martin's complete letter in the forum under the category Band. Maybe some of you want to say good-bye there. Martin, we had a miraculous time with you: a lot of fun, a lot of rock, more bass and a big party! We will miss you and wish you for the future in sunny California success and all the best!

Of course there is also a new man on the bass and on board. He is really no stranger to us: Olli Pohl will be Martin's successor. Some of you might know him from the very beginning of Eisbrecher (or even earlier: back in Megaherz times). He has already helped us out heroically a few times when we had no other bass player. Unfortunately, this has happened more than once in the history of the band. But now he is a full member of the crew! We are very glad about this decision!!!

Olli will perform on the 19th and 20th of July with us at Rockharz and Amphi festivals! It will be great - don't miss it!

Eisbrecher have reached the finale hot phase of their current record production. One and a half years after the successful release of ANTIKÖRPER with the stage hit VERGISSMEINNICHT, their next strike will be called SÜNDE:

The third Eisbrecher album will be released on August 26, 2008 (in America – Germany on August 22). Until then, the single - Kann denn Liebe Suende sein - (July 18, 2008 in Germany only) will give an torrid taste of the upcoming album!

Alexx and Noel promise their fans a somber medley of dark and rocking ice pearls at the height of summer: Album III will be far and away the hardest and most sinister album by the band in every way – the maxim: Delicately brutal! Hard but heartfelt!

Before they get on the tour bus and head through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Eisbrecher will rock a few of the most important festivals in the scene to the ground: Zita Rock in Berlin, RockHarz in Förste, Amphi in Cologne, and M'era Luna in Hildesheim, to name a few.

Alexx: We finally wanted to dedicate an album to the driving force of all human existence. Our fetish is called "Sin" (Sünde): Our texts deal exclusively with sinful activities, our music is sinfully good, we are sinfully beautiful and sexy, the album will be sinfully expensive and definitely worth sinning for.
